Launched in 2012, Ruby Red Films was the production arm of Red Thread Studio. Our first Producing project was The Score - a multi award winning short film created in association with QPIX as part of the 2012 QPIX Raw Nerve program.

Since then, Red Thread Studio has produced four documentaries, three feauture films and co produced over ten feature films and series, with plenty more on the go.

Our mission is to tell stories that entertain, inspire and/or change the way people think – underpinned by women both in front of and behind the camera.

As strong believers in collaboration, we are currently working with talented filmmakers from all over the country - on their projects, and ours.
